A hacker claiming to be Israeli has revealed the log-in details of 100,000 Arab Facebook accounts over the weekend.
An apparent pro-Israeli hacker released the log-in details of what he claims are 100,000 Arab Facebook accounts, and is threatening to release some millions more bank accounts and credit card details.
The hacker, calling himself Hannibal, warned he would be revealing information the day before on his pastebin account saying "Be ready for tomorrow night." In the body of the text the hacker pasted the text, "the title says it all."
‘Hannibal’ is using a website called Pastebin that allows people to upload text, usually samples of source code, for the public to view.
He has used the website for his last four releases of sensitive Arab account information.
He claims to have uploaded the details to multiple file hosting websites as a backup.
The hacker posted a message with the log-in details that said (sic)::
"I post this 100k accounts list because i want show the my huge strength. The Arabs should learn a lesson and know not to mess with me.
Jewish people named me as the general of Israel’s hackers.
I have about 30 million email accounts, 10 million bank accounts, 4 million cerdit cards of Arabs from all over the world
I received thousands of emails from Arabs who are begging me to stop publishing their bills and hurt them.
Because I noticed that lately the Arab hackers are gone, I declare cyber war termination.
Israeli hackers, stop! Cyber war stops until further notice I will post again if they attack the State of Israel.
If they appear again, I again come to save Israel. Trust me. I’ll always be around.
