JasperSoft will preview its new Jasper4Salesforce PRM (Partner Relationship Management) Edition software at Salesforce.com’s Dreamforce ’07 conference next week.
Jasper4Salesforce is an on-demand version of JasperSoft’s open source Java reporting software that was released at the beginning of this year to provide Salesforce CRM users with much needed reporting tools. JasperSoft has now added reporting metrics and content specific to PRM which helps companies to manage their indirect sales channel partners more effectively.
JasperSoft said the PRM Edition provides a range of ad hoc, multi-object, parameterized, pixel-perfect and banded reporting capabilities, all delivered through a Web browser interface. A graphical design module called JasperStudio is also included as part of the PRM Edition for richer report layouts.
The reports deployed through Jasper4Salesforce can be accessed on-demand from a tab within Salesforce PRM and shared to select partners. Report output is displayed through the web browser and can be saved as PDF, Excel or Word files.
San Francisco-based JasperSoft said it had paid special attention to ensuring an integrated look and feel between the two PRM environments using style sheets from Salesforce.com PRM portal and automatic linking of reports to associated Salesforce objects. Report security is governed by Salesforce’s native model.
Jasper4Salesforce PRM Edition will be released in October and is available from Salesforce.com’s AppExchange online marketplace.
