JCDecaux, a leading outdoor advertising company, has signed a five year international deal with Unilever, following the companies’ existing European contract, which began in 2002. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The deal covers all of Unilever’s brands, which will be advertised using JCDecaux’s system in all 41 countries where the advertising company has a presence. Consumer giant Unilever owns brands such as Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, Hellman’s mayonnaise, Lipton Ice Tea, Dove and Lux personal care products and Domestos home cleaning products.
JCDecaux said the agreement also represents a strategic partnership in emerging markets.
