Users can now customise browser avatar with their photo
Maxthon International, a provider of browsers for both the Windows desktop and Android phones, has launched Maxthon Mobile, a new Android browser.
According to the company, the new Maxthon Mobile offers users PC and phone syncing of photos to Maxthon Passport account. Users can now customise their browser’s avatar with their own photo taken on the go.
The company said that the new browser has RSS subscription and management options for RSS subscribers on the go, which enables users to subscribe and view favorite RSS feeds anyway, anytime.
Maxthon Mobile has added Android analogues to some of its desktop features which include free cloud storage and syncing of bookmarks/favorites; and touch screen surfing through finger gestures that let users control the browser without hunting for virtual buttons and knobs.
Maxthon CEO and founder Jeff Chen said Maxthon is making it easier for users to have their own internet cloud service.
"This latest release builds on the momentum we’ve created," Chen said.
