Telecoms equipment firm Motorola has announced the launch of its Mobile Services Cafe. The Cafe is a range of mobile Internet applications and services, aimed at mobile operators. They will be able to offer any of applications in the range to their customers.
The cafe includes messaging, office tools and mCommerce services. Specifically, it includes a J2ME download server, multiplayer online games, a calendar, photo messaging, and access to corporate email and databases.
Motorola’s launch is part of its general strategy of becoming a mobile solutions provider, boosting its overall sales and customer loyalty by offering handsets, services, and infrastructure.
