Gross profit for Q4 increased to $61.9m
NetLogic Microsystems, a semiconductor technology provider, has posted revenues of $100.4m for the fourth quarter of 2010, up 44.5% from $69.5m for the fourth quarter of 2009.
Gross profit for the quarter increased to $61.9m from $19.3m in the same quarter of 2009.
For the fourth quarter ending 31 December 2010, the company’s operating loss decreased to $13.2m from $38.6m in the previous year quarter.
The net loss for the quarter was $9.4m, or $0.14 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $37.2m or $0.71 per diluted share, for the same period in 2009.
For the fiscal year 2010, the company’s revenues increased to $381.7m from $174.7m in the fiscal year 2009.
The company’s operating loss and net loss increased to $70.7m and $66.4m, respectively.
NetLogic Microsystems president and CEO Ron Jankov said the company has launched new offerings in their multi-core processing, knowledge-based processing and physical layer product families.
