Webcast service provider Onstream Media has formed a partnership with New York-based video production company All Mobile Video to integrate on-site webcasting systems into production studios.
As a part of the deal, Onstream’s on-site webcasting system, Visual Webcaster, will be integrated into All Mobile Video’s (AMV) studios. The partnership will also provide digital asset management solutions to other clients.
AMV operates seven production studios in Manhattan with 21 video satellite and production trucks, and employs 200 people, while Onstream is an online service provider of live and on-demand internet video, corporate web communications and content management applications. Its digital media services platform (DMSP) provides tools for encoding, managing, indexing and publishing content using the internet.
As a result of this agreement we are extending the relationship to include joint marketing of all our web-based digital media services, including our latest on-site encoding technology for webcasting and our DMSP, said Randy Selman, president and chief executive at Onstream.
Last month, Onstream Media launched the upgraded Visual Webcaster service called Visual Webcaster HD. The new features include the use of high definition cameras and other HD sources input through serial digital interface into encoders providing a broadcast-quality video. It can also encode for Windows, RealTime, QuickTime and Flash media formats.
