Updates to Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g expected to increase efficiency, productivity of organisations
Oracle has released updates for its user experience platform Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware.
Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g reportedly helps organisations to develop and set up internal and external portals, websites, composite applications besides social and collaboration services integrated with enterprise applications.
The latest version of the suite helps business users with better collaboration capabilities, increased personalisation features, Oracle added.
It is expected to increase efficiency and productivity of organisations by offering improved mobility with an iPhone application that provides access to content and status within Oracle WebCenter Spaces.
Oracle said that the user experience platform also increases collaboration capabilities with voice and web conferencing and instant messaging.
It also helps in desktop integration with common word processing, spreadsheet and email applications while providing support for the Content Management Interoperability Standard (CMIS) to enable use of content from multiple repositories and across multiple systems.
