UK based digital electronic equipment manufacturer, Radstone Technology, has revealed increased pre tax profits. Profits for the full year rose 11% to £4.57 million compared with £4.1 million last year. The company also announced turnover for the same period fell slightly from £41.26 million to £41.2 million.
Analysts attribute Radstone’s increase in profits to an upturn in defence contracts awarded following the September 11 terrorist attacks. Radstone Technology has contracts to supply the US armed forces with digital components for tanks and unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.
