Luxury airport hotel Sofitel London Heathrow will manage its pricing strategies with the help of IDeaS Revenue Optimization’s hospitality revenue management suite IDeaS V5i.

In particular, key for us was IDeaS’ ability to work within the Accor brand standards for pricing.
Sofitel London Heathrow is owned and operated by Arora International Hotels; and offers 605 luxury bedrooms and suites and 45 meeting rooms. The hotel will deploy the IDeaS V5i On-demand Revenue Management Solution with modules such as the Best Available Rate (BAR), Budget, Sales and Catering Interface and Group Pricing.
The BAR helps the hotel make pricing decisions by incorporating rate shopping information. The Budget module enables hoteliers to compare rooms sold and revenue at the hotel and market segment level to corresponding budget figures.
The Sales and Catering Interface is a new tool which provides the functionality to launch the Group Pricing Module from within the Newmarket Delphi product. The Group Pricing Module helps hoteliers evaluate group requests, analyse displaced revenues, find alternative dates and include ancillary revenues and costs for a total value assessment.
IDeaS has a long list of customers in the world hospitality industry, including Maritim Hotels, Menzies Hotel Group, Austria Trend Hotels & Resorts, Station Casinos, Grand Hotel and others.
IDeaS was recently acquired by SAS, a business intelligence and analytics company.
