Government sector systems integrator Stanley Inc has bought security software and services vendor Techrizon for an undisclosed sum.
Lawton, Oklahoma-based Techrizon has some 300 staff developing systems for battle management, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. The company has Level 5 CMM accreditation, and made revenue of approximately $29m in 2006.
Stanley, which is based in the hotbed of federal contractors of Arlington, Virginia, has 2,300 employees that provide systems engineering and integration and business process outsourcing services to central government and defense agencies. For its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2006, the company reported a 57% fall in net profit to $1.3m, on sales that rose 48% to $102m.
