T-Mobile has deployed Comverse’s call return software to its voicemail services in Germany. The facility will enable T-Mobile’s contract customers to return the call left on their voicemail by pressing a single key call back option, which is integrated with the voicemail server.
The German operator hopes that the service will improve revenues by increasing call traffic. Over 50 operators worldwide already use call return; it’s proving to be one of the more popular enhanced services.
The introduction of call return is T-Mobile’s second mailbox service using Comverse software. In April, the operator introduced Comverse call capture service, which is able to tell a user via voicemail the phone number of a caller who has not left a message.
