T-Mobile has introduced a wireless device that offers full color Internet access, voice and data services via the Windows Powered Pocket PC platform.
The devices will be made exclusively available to T-Mobile customers and those on VoiceStream. The phone will support e-mail and provide access to contacts and calendars.
Because it uses Microsoft software the device can load applications such as Internet Explorer, Outlook, MSN Messenger, Windows Media Player, Word and Excel, that have been tailored specifically for the PDA.
The dual band phone will also travel well, and will be useable in over 90 countries around the world. The devices are expected to be priced at around $550 each.
