Telecom Italia [TI] has forged a partnership with Samsung [00830.KS] to develop services and products using Wi-Fi technology, targeted at the Italian, French, German and Dutch markets.
The partnership, aimed at residential and corporate markets, can be extended to other areas. Telecom Italia recently decided to enter the high-speed Internet market in France and Germany.
The partnership with Samsung, South Korea’s largest conglomerate, mainly concerns the development of wireless and wired terminals as well as the launch of integrated voice-data solutions for residential and corporate clients.
