Healthcare resource management technology firm Unibased Systems Architecture has secured a contract to provide East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System with its integrated resource management system.
The resource management system (RMS), along with Unibased’s Physician Access, will provide conflict-free scheduling, notifications, retrospective analysis, and ongoing process refinement, making it easier for patients and physicians to schedule and pre-register for appointments and eliminate duplicate data-gathering, creating a more patient-centered approach.
Physician Access will provide all of East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System’s (ETMC) physician offices access to real-time scheduling information and functions, including security features to control access.
The implementation of RMS along with Physician Access is expected to improve physician relationships, increase referrals and revenue, improve scheduler productivity, reduce labor costs, improve patient and physician satisfaction, and provide optimal resource utilization and scheduling efficiency.
ETMC is the 11th hospital in Texas that has contracted for Unibased’s access management solutions over the last two years. The healthcare system is a large integrated delivery network encompassing 14 hospitals, 6,000 employees and over 500 board-certified physicians serving hundreds of thousands of patients throughout East Texas.
