Imbibes intelligent power management processes and utilises user awareness and engagement initiatives to save power
Verismic, a Sparxent company, has launched Power Manager 3.0, an offering to save energy and costs in desktops, notebook PCs and servers.
The company claims Verismic Power Manager 3.0 saves energy by imbibing intelligent power management processes and utilising user awareness and engagement initiatives.
Verismic managing director Mark McGinn said Verismic is ensuring that the cost and carbon reduction benefits of power management can be experienced by all.
Verismic Power Manager 3.0 is the only solution that involves all devices and the user population as a whole to effect savings and behavioural change, claims Verismic.
In Power Manager 3.0, the feature Dynamic Efficiency is at the core of engine management. It works by throttling back power when users or applications are idle, but immediately throttling up when performance is required.
Users are informed of their contribution to PC energy efficiency and how they compare to other users through the User Education & Awareness capabilities.
The service also has tips every day to enforce energy saving methods that cannot be enforced through PC policies.
Power Manager 3.0 is available in three delivery options: onsite, hosted in the cloud and via Managed Service Providers.
