What is a Chromebook?

Chromebook

A Chromebook is a laptop that runs Google’s Chrome operating system, rather than Windows 10 or Mac OS X.

The machines are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, this is because the majority of the applications and documents live in the cloud, rather than on the device.

This is because there is typically very little storage space on a Chromebook. The pro of this is that it makes the device light to carry around and quick to start, as they use solid state drives.
