What is Crackle?


Crackle is a free to use multi-platform video entertainment network.

Distributing original web shows, Hollywood movies, and TV shows, Crackle was founded in the early 2000’s as Grouper and later rebranded in 2007 as Crackle after it was acquired by Sony for $65m.

The service is free with commercials and is supported on all platforms.

A number of content partners work with Crackle such as Fox Digital, Lions Gate Entertainment, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Red Bull, Universal Studios, Miramax, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, and more.
