In 2015, Fujitsu was the world’s fourth-largest IT services provider measured by revenue, behind IBM, HP and Accenture.
The Japanese tech giant has many different operations, for example Fujitsu Laboratories is the company’s R&D division, while Fujitsu Consulting in the services and consulting arm of the group. The company’s other divisions include: Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe, Fujitsu Technology Solutions and Fujitsu General, among others.
Fujitsu is a household name in consumer IT products, selling a range of notebook computers and PCs. As a vendor in this space, Fujitsu also sells servers, racks, blades and various other hardware for enterprise IT infrastructure.
The company also offers a public cloud service, with data centres across Asia, US and Europe. The platform delivers infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS).
