Macintosh is the name of a series of computers by Apple.
The line of personal computers, both desktop and laptop, was created by Apple’s late founder and CEO Steve Jobs.
Nicknamed Mac, these personal computers were first launched in January 1984 and have since been modernised into super machines.
The original Macintosh was called Macintosh 128K and was a beige big box with a Motorola 68000 CPU and a RAM of 128K. It was commercialised at $2,495. Today it is a collector’s piece.
