What is Photoshop?

Photoshop is an image editing software developed by Adobe Systems.

The program was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll and launched in February 1990. It is now available in 26 languages worldwide.

Written in C++, the software is designed to run on Windows operating system and Apple’s OS X.

As part of the Photoshop portfolio of tools Adobe launched Photoshop Touch, built specifically to be used in touch screen devices such as tablets and mobile phones, or interactive worktop stations.
