What is UC?


UC, which stands for unified communications, is the practice of integrating different communication tools together that help companies do their work more effectively.

This integration combines real-time enterprise and communication services with non-real time communication services.

Examples include video conferencing tools, fixed mobile convergence, desktop sharing, instant messaging, unified messaging, data sharing, etc.

Unified communications can be used in most scenarios, however, it is in the emergency field that its simplicity and ease of use is best taken advantage of.
